How long will my real Christmas tree last?

Longevity varies with freshness, room conditions and care. A well-watered tree can last longer. The most important things are keeping the trunk in water and protecting the tree from excessive heat.

Will it drop needles?

A small amount of natural needle drop is normal. Yeowarra describes its trees as low shedding. Keeping the tree well hydrated is important.

Do I really need a water-holding stand?

We strongly recommend one. A purpose-made stand holds the tree securely and keeps water around the base of the trunk.

What should I put in the water?

Plain fresh water is sufficient. Check the water level every day and do not allow it to fall below the bottom of the trunk.

Will my tree look exactly like the photo?

No two real trees are identical. Height, width, branch density and shape naturally vary. That individual character is part of having a real Christmas tree.

Can I have my tree delivered?

Yes. Pre-booked delivery is available at half price within the nominated delivery area. Delivery must be selected when ordering.

Can I collect it myself?

Yes. Collection is from Noosa Sea Scout Den, 11 Eumundi Road, Noosaville on the nominated collection date. Please bring a vehicle suitable for safely transporting the size of tree you order.

How do I dispose of the tree after Christmas?

Real trees are green waste and can be disposed of at local recycling centres.
